Our Site’s interface allows you to connect with social networking websites such as Twitter. We will work with Twitter’s application protocol interface (better known as their developer API) in a way that allows you to authorize us to read Tweets and public information from your Twitter account, or other accounts you specify, on your behalf. In order to provide this authorization, you will not provide us with your Twitter password, but you will need to login to Twitter directly through our Adhark Platform. Once authorized by you, Twitter will provide us with a token that allows it to recognize us when we ask, on your behalf, for access to your account information. You will be able to revoke our access to Twitter at any time by amending the appropriate settings from within your account settings on Twitter’s site, though such revocation will prevent your use of portions of the Site, including our Adhark Platform.
You can access and update certain information we have relating to your online account by signing into your account and going to the “Profile” section of our Site. If you have questions about personal information we have about you or need to update your information, you can Contact Us. You can opt-out of receiving marketing and promotional e-mails from Company by using the opt-out or unsubscribe feature contained in the e-mails.
You can deactivate your online account by revoking our access to your Twitter account. To do this, you must (i) sign into your Twitter account on www.twitter.com, (ii) click “Settings”, (iii) click “Apps”, (iv) then click the “Revoke Access” option next to our Adhark Platform. If you deactivate your account, we will no longer use your online account information. We may, however, retain a copy of the information for archival purposes, and to avoid identity theft or fraud.
We use industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Please note that e-mails and other communications you send to us through our Site are not encrypted, and we strongly advise you not to communicate any confidential information through these means.
